What do I need to bring for a Disney Cruise?
Pre-Departure Checklist-
- It is critical that you bring proper documentation i.e.
passport (for U.S. passports visit website at http://travel.state.gov or
call 877-4USA-PPT for the most recent requirements), picture ID and a waterproof
ID holder.
- We recommend you also consider bringing cash, film or memory
cards, prescription medication in original containers and a daypack. The
daypack can be invaluable, as your luggage may not arrive in your stateroom
until 6pm the first evening onboard.
- The daypack should contain ID, travel
documents, shorts, swimwear, valuables, grooming supplies, hats, sunscreen
or any additional items you may need during your first hours onboard.
- Disney
recommends you purchase travel insurance, which provides baggage, trip cancellation/interruption
and medical expense coverage. Be advised that most major medical policies
don't provide coverage outside US borders.
What Clothes to Pack:
- Disney, like many other cruise lines has an
atmosphere that is informal and casual; the clothing you should pack is considered
“Cruise Casual”. This includes shorts, tee shirts or sundresses for daytime
wear.
- For dinner and evening activities, plan to leave your shorts, swimwear
and tennis shoes in your stateroom. Slacks and a collared shirt for men
(jeans are okay except in the adult only Palo restaurant) and for women
slacks or dresses are suitable.
- For fun, pack some pirate gear for the
special Pirates IN the Caribbean party night. Also, be sure to bring
swimwear, beach
shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses and hats.
