Disney Cruise Lines 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruises
Key West, the southern-most town in the continental U.S. is the first port of call on a Disney 7-night Caribbean cruise. Known as one of America's most laid-back, worry-free places in the world, Key West is a blend of Bahamian, Cuban, and southern cuisine and architecture. You can take a tour and explore the area by trolley, train or on foot. Take time to admire the different architectures from Spanish colonial, Bahamian gingerbread houses to a New England sea captains house with a widow's watch. There are also craft shops, galleries and tourist souvenirs shops; or experience the Key West atmosphere by water in a kayak, glass-bottom boat or submarine. On Tuesday, the ship will stop at the port in Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands. With summer temperatures in the mid-eighties, it's the perfect destination for water sports enthusiasts. Visitors can go scuba diving, snorkel with stingrays, sail a catamaran, try their hand at sport fishing, or view the underwater coral and colorful fish from a glass bottom boat or mini-sub. For those who are feeling less adventuresome, how about grabbing a lounge chair and kicking back with a drink along the beautiful, turquoise waters of Seven Mile Beach? Next stop, big beautiful Cozumel Mexico, home of the world famous Palancar Reef! Underwater explorers can get up close and personal viewing thousands of the most brilliantly colored fish. This is the biggest island in Mexico and is rich in legend, folklore and ancient historical sites. Experience the centuries-old culture by touring its old churches and ruins. It is a shopper's paradise with colorful marketplaces and open-air cafes. Other activities available include golf, scuba diving, dolphin encounter, snorkeling, horseback riding, riding dune buggies on the beach, exploring caverns, ruins and amazing beaches. Back on board the ship, you will have a full magical day at sea to relax and explore the many activities and entertainment options as you sail your way to Disney's own private paradise island get-a-way Castaway Cay. This is an exclusive port just for Disney Cruise Line guests. You will get to view a bit of the enchantment of Disney as you spot a ghost ship in the bay from the set of Pirates of the Caribbean. From the minute your feet hit the sand you will find ample room to explore and make the island your own for the day.
