Getting To Orlando Florida- Orlando International Airport

Airlines and Fares. You can leave your worries behind when you purchase your airfare through Disney Cruise Line. Included is round-trip air travel, motor coach ground transport and baggage transfers to the ship. A big advantage is that your transfers from the airport to the ship are all complimentary.

However, you can usually get a better rate by purchasing your airfare separately. Be sure to book a flight that is scheduled to arrive by mid-morning as it lets you check in at Port Canaveral and board the ship by the 1 PM early boarding time. Don't be late as 3:30 pm is the cutoff time for checking in. When you enter the main terminal at the airport, proceed to the Disney Welcome Center on Level 1, Side B of the terminal. A Disney representative will help you with your paperwork and take you to a motor coach. All your bags with be tagged and loaded onto the bus for you. The charge for this service is generally $69 per person round trip.

We recommend first time cruisers arrive a day early and add a one nights stay in one of Downtown Disney's hotels as part of your Disney cruise package. The benefits to arriving early are twofold; first surprise is that when you get here you will find the cruise line information desk is right in the hotel and they will handle your cruise paperwork the minute you arrive; next surprise, the hotel will give you complimentary passes so you can spend a fun-filled day at Disney's park.
