Discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493, are the most popular cruise destination are the islands of St. Thomas and St. John. You get to choose one of the two islands to visit. Both islands have their own enticements. St. Thomas is well known for its beautiful tropical beaches as well as duty-free shopping. The capital Charlotte Amalie is full of shops and galleries where you can select local island souvenirs such as basketry, scrimshaw, sculptures, dolls and ceramics. St, John is a short ferry ride away and is a national park that offers exciting underwater and hiking adventures. Visitors can see and experience white-coral sand coves, exotic flowers, birds and butterflies. Once everyone gathers back onboard, the ship sails for another full day at sea onto the enchanting final port of all; Disney Cruises own private island paradise, Castaway Cay. This amazing 7-day cruise began on Saturday as you boarded the ship at Port Canaveral. Sunday and Monday are days of relaxation and fun at sea, Tuesday you arrived at St. Maarten, Wednesday you enjoyed the ports of St. Thomas and/or St. John, Thursday spent another fun day at sea , Friday you arrived at Castaway Cay and finally on Saturday you returned to Port Canaveral.
