Seattle, Washington: Why not begin your exciting Alaskan cruise itinerary by arriving a day early and enjoying the site and sounds of the "Emerald City" found in the picturesque setting along the Puget Sound.  We encourage you to take the ride 520 feet above sea level to check out this impressive city from the observation deck on top of the cities famous Space Needle, stroll through the eclectic shops and boutiques in Pioneer Square and wander through and explore the site and sounds of Pikes Place Market and its seafood, farmers market, entertainment, arts and crafts and its unique shops and galleries. Family friendly places to visit include the Seattle Aquarium and beauty of the Waterfall Garden. Tracy Arm: Relax and enjoy your travel along the scenic Alaska Inside Passage. Spend time relaxing near the windows,along observation decks where you will be enthralled by the rugged, natural beauty of the coastline. Keep your eyes open for various species of whales as well as otters, eagles, sea birds and perhaps even a bear or moose. While cruising along the 30-mile long Tracy Arm fjord you are sure to be astounded by close up views of remarkable glaciers, floating ice burgs and amazing waterfalls, all are sure to take your breath away. Experience the excitement as you watch age old chunks of the Sawyer Glaciers calf, crashing down into the cold glacial waters below.

Skagway, Alaska: When you wake up on the fourth day of your cruise you will find yourself at the port of historic Skagway. Enjoy the day experiencing the pristine, natural splendor of this northern Alaskan Panhandle community otherwise known as "The Gateway to the Klondike" from the 1880 Klondike Goldrush days. From Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park you can join a walking tour along seven blocks of some of the best known downtown locations where the prospectors and miners stopped at before embarking on their passage to the gold rush. Take a ride on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad which is a 19th century vintage train that travels past waterfalls and glaciers as you go through tunnels, steep mountain climbs and sharp turns right along the scenic mountain cliffs. See artifacts and articles from this historic period at the historic granite building housing the Skagway Museum and Archives.

Juneau, Alaska: The capital city of the state is located at the southern end of Alaska's Panhandle where there is a vast variety of tours and adventures available to please everyone in your family. You'll have a full day to get out and explore and shop this exciting city located at the foot of scenic Mount Juneau. This capital boasts the honor of being the only U.S. capital that is accessible only by boat or air. Among the many things to do in this city include a bus tour of the capital city and the 1,800 foot deep ice filed known and the Mendenhall Glacier, a ride on the Mount Roberts Tramway taking visitors up to an observation deck providing panoramic view of the city, view a 450 foot fish ladder and salmon breeding area at the Macaulay Salmon Hatchery, learn about the area's culture and history at the Alaska State Museum. Historical sites to see include the oldest operating church, Saint Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church and the Red Dog Saloon from the days of the mining era which is complete with swinging doors, saw dust floors and live music. Shops are found within walking distance from this ship where cruise guests can purchase Alaskan items like jewelry, furs, baleen baskets, cared ivory, nesting dolls, tee shirts and scrapbooking items to remind you of your Alaskan cruise.

Ketchikan, Alaska: Your final Alaskan port of call is known for fishing and its large collection of colorful Native totem poles, perhaps the largest collection in the world. Totem Bight State Park, Totem Heritage Center and the Saxman Totem Park are chances to learn more about Alaska 19th century native culture while walking through beautiful parks situated in rural settings. Wander along the city's suspended boardwalk , Creek Street, enjoying the historic houses and shops that once housed brothels in the 1900's. Those looking for adventure will enjoy hiking and traveling to the Misty Fjords National Monument in the Tongass National Forest filled with vistas containing glaciers, waterfalls, lakes, wildlife and majestic mountain peaks. Deer Mountain Tribal Hatchery and Eagle Center has an observation area where you can watch spawning salmon and see bald eagles.

Vancouver, Canada: Following another scenic and relaxing day at sea you will wake up on the eighth day to find yourself a the beautiful city located between the sea and the mountains. You will be disembarking from your cruise in the city of Vancouver which is Canada's third largest city located in southwestern British Columbia. Be sure to see the 1,000 acre Stanley Park where visitors can hike and enjoy the natural beauty among douglas fir trees, pet animals at the Children's Farmyard or ride on a miniature train through the park or perhaps visit the Vancouver Aquarium also located in the park. The Calilano Suspension Bridge is located 230 feet above the Capilano River just daring adventurous soles to walk over the 450 foot long canyon bridge.
